From cutting edge technology to classical music and ballet, The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts partners with Music Worcester in presenting four spectacular performances this season, including Callas in Concert: The Hologram Tour, Bach's Goldberg Variations with Simone Dinnerstein, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy: Visions from Cape Breton and Beyond and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake performed by the Russian National Ballet. Tickets to all four performances are now on sale to members and go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, September 4 at 10 am.

Callas in Concert: The Hologram Tour comes to the theatre on Wednesday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. In this extraordinary combination of art and science, "La Divina" herself returns to the stage through digital and laser technology. Maria Callas as hologram soloist appears in front of a live orchestra to perform beloved arias most associated with her, including "Vieni t'affretta" from Verdi's "Macbeth", "Habañera" from Bizet's "Carmen", the mad scene from Thomas' "Hamlet", "Casta Diva" from Bellini's "Norma", "Vissi d'arte" from Puccini's "Tosca", and several others. Callas is supported by Symphony New Hampshire and conductor Constantine Kitsoppoulos.

Bach's Goldberg Variations with Simone Dinnerstein performs on Tuesday, January 15 at 7:30 pm. The show premiered regionally in 2017 at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in Boston. This work is the result of a collaboration between pianist Simone Dinnerstein and choreographer Pam Tanowitz. New Work for Goldberg Variations invites listeners to experience Bach's original magnum opus with fresh eyes and ears. The 11 member Pam Tanowitz Dance Company interacts with, surrounds and is continually stimulated by Bach's Goldberg Variations, played live by Dinnerstein at the piano. The New York Times calls it "A riveting dialogue of movement and music."

Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy: Visions from Cape Breton and Beyond comes to the theatre on Friday, March 15 at 8 pm. Join celebrated Celtic fiddler Natalie MacMaster when she returns to Worcester for the first time since 2013, joined by her husband and Leahy band member, Donnell Leahy. The fierce fiddling duo command the stage with an explosive celebration of raw energy and passion that infuses their traditional heritage with their taste for the contemporary.

Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake performed by the Russian National Ballet is on Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m. The Russian National Ballet focuses on upholding the grand national tradition of the major Russian ballet works and developing new talents throughout Russia, with a repertory of virtually all of the great, full works which continue to enlighten, inspire and entertain audiences across the continent.
