Mark Cortale, Producing Artistic Director of The Art House in Provincetown, MA, kicks off the seventh consecutive season of his smash hit Broadway @ The Art House concert series with two-time Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris for two shows only on July 1 and 2, with series host Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host.

This is a spontaneous evening of hilarity and show-stopping songs not to be missed! Since launching the fledgling Broadway concert-and-interview series in 2011 with artistic partner and series host Rudetsky, the Broadway @ series has become a veritable star-magnet and has exploded beyond picturesque P-Town to launch outposts everywhere from Los Angeles to New Orleans to Chicago to London and many more cities.

This summer the series again encompasses both Broadway @ the Art House in its original, intimate theatrical home and the separate Broadway @ Town Hall concert series in Provincetown's largest venue.

For tickets and information, visit www.ptownarthouse.com or call 800-838-3006. The 2017 Art House and Town Hall season produced by Mark Cortale is sponsored by Cape Air, Anchor Inn Beach House, Ptown Bikes, Loveland and Provincetown Gym.

Michael Cerveris won the 2015 Tony Award for his performance in "Fun Home." His versatility has allowed him to play a wide variety of diverse roles, from "Shakespeare's Romeo to The Who's Tommy, from the German transsexual rock diva Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch to the homicidal title character of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd." Michael Cerveris made his Broadway debut in "The Who's Tommy" in 1993 as 18-20 year old Tommy and received a Tony Award nomination as Best Featured Actor in a musical. He has also been seen in the Broadway musicals "Titanic" as Thomas Andrews, in "Assassins" as John Wilkes Booth for which he won his first Tony Award, the revival of "Sweeney Todd" in the title role, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award, in "LoveMusik" as Kurt Weill which brought him another Tony nomination, "Cymbeline" as Posthumus, "Hedda Gabler" as Jorgen Tesman opposite Mary-Louise Parker, "In The Next Room (or The Vibrator Play)" the and the recent revival of "Evita" as Perón.

Michael's television work includes "Fringe" as The Observer, "Fame" as Ian Ware, "Person of Interest" as Jarek Koska, as well as appearances on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "The American Embassy," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Treme," "The Good Wife" and the films "Stake Land," "Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant," "Brief Interviews with Hideous Men," "The Mexican," and "Lulu on the Bridge." In addition to his award-winning acting and singing talents, Michael is also an accomplished guitarist, and has played guitar as a member of Bob Mould's touring band. His debut solo album "Dog Eared" includes guest appearances from Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub), Corin Tucker and Janet Weiss (Sleater-Kinney), Ken Stringfellow (The Posies, R.E.M.), Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), Kevin March (Guided by Voices), Anders Parker (Varnaline) and Laura Cantrell. The format of that evening will be a seamless mix of intimate behind-the-scenes stories from one of Broadway's biggest stars - prompted by Rudetsky's probing, funny, revealing questions - and Michael Cerveris singing some of the biggest hits from his musical theatre repertoire. This is a spontaneous evening of hilarity and show-stopping songs not to be missed.

Seth Rudetsky is the afternoon host on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio's "On Broadway" as well as the host of Seth Speaks on Sirius/XM Stars. As a pianist, Seth has played for more than a dozen Broadway shows including "Ragtime," "Les Miserables" and "The Phantom of the Opera." He was the Artistic Producer/Music Director for the first five annual Actors Fund Fall Concerts including "Dreamgirls" with Audra McDonald (recorded on Nonesuch Records) and "Hair" with Jennifer Hudson (recorded on Ghostlight Records, Grammy Nomination). In 2007 he made his Broadway acting debut playing Sheldon (singing "Magic to Do" in a devastating unitard) in "The Ritz" directed by Joe Mantello for The Roundabout Theater. As an author, he penned the non-fiction "Q Guide to Broadway," the novel "Broadway Nights" and the recently published "My Awesome/Awful Popularity Plan" (Random House). Seth played himself on "Kathy Griffin; My Life on the D-List," was the vocal coach on MTV's "Legally Blonde" reality show and starred opposite Sutton Foster in They're Playing Our Song for the Actors Fund. He co-wrote and starred in "Disaster!" (which the NY Times called a "triumph") last season on Broadway. "Disaster!" also premiered to rave reviews in London's West End in November.
