MONSTERS, INC. JR. to Premiere With Break a Leg Theater Works
Performances will take place on June 12 and 13.
Break a Leg Theater Works will present Monsters, Inc. JR., featuring book, music and lyrics by Chris Anselmo & Jared Corak.
Be among the first audiences anywhere to experience this exciting new musical adaptation before its nationwide release! Break a Leg Theater Works has been selected to help develop and premiere the production in collaboration with Disney Theatricals, giving our young performers the rare opportunity to help bring this new show to life on stage. Performed by a talented cast of local students ages 10-15, this high-energy production is filled with heart, humor, and theatrical magic for the whole family.
Cast A will perform on June 12 at 7:00 PM and June 13 at 3:00 PM. The cast features James Cooper as Mike Wazowski, Caidan Johnson as James P. Sullivan ("Sulley"), Maya Menzel as Boo, Violet Black as Randall Boggs, Killian Doherty as Fungus, Nora Soma as Celia, Tess McLaughlin as Roz, and Ashley Lebson as Yeti.
Cast B will perform on June 13 at 7:00 PM and June 14 at 1:00 PM. The cast features Laird LaCoste as Mike Wazowski, Jackson Lieberman as James P. Sullivan ("Sulley"), Joanie Soma as Boo, Violet Palmucci as Randall Boggs, Sam Kuperstein as Fungus, Maeve Russo as Celia, Ella Remington as Roz, and Sofia Vizen as Yeti.
In all performances, Owen Dewberry plays Waternoose, Baxter Dering-Ridley plays Needleman, Nicholas Shay plays Smitty, Kenzie Sergi plays the Three-Eyed Monster and Three-Eyed Witness, Molly Sullivan plays the Receptionist Monster, Field Reporter Monster, and CDA Agent 113, Hailey Taft plays Monster 1, Scarlett McElroy plays Monster 2 and Witness 1, Riggs Quinn plays Monster 3, Sabina Knecht plays Scarer 1 and CDA Agent 2, Holly Beal plays Scare Assistant 1 and CDA Agent 1, Sophie Monaco plays Monster 4, Selah Chisholm plays Monster 5 and the Norwegian Kid, Alexandra Carrillo plays Monster 6, Fiona Hughes plays Monster 7, Emma Black plays Witness 2 and the Kid with Flippers On, Maddie Delgado plays Witness 3 and the Kid Holding a Candle, Soli Russo plays Witness 4, and Hank Bray plays Monster 8.
