The Musical Theatre Guild of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology will open their upcoming production of EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL on April 23rd. The production will play the Kresge Little Theatre and run through May 1st.

Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It's all up to Ash (a housewares employee, turned demon killing hero), and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons are telling bad jokes...and all to music. This hilarious live stage show takes all the elements of the cult classic horror films, Evil Dead 1, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness then combines them to make one of the craziest theatrical experiences of all time.

The cast features Christian Hegg, Priscilla Army, Gregory Cushing, Karen Hart, Danbee Kim, Brad Smith, Zach Barryte, Emily Earle, Helen O'Keefe, and Stever Robbins.

The production team is made up of Steven Kelch, Kimberly Brink, Christopher Brathwaite, Teresa Giblin, Shee Shee Jin, Matthew Putnam, Helen O'Keefe, Karen Hart, Heather Kent, Daniel Sngiem, Kelsey Brigance, Alex Flagg French, Becky Bianco, Catherine Redfield, Lori Lapomardo, Danbee Kim, Keith Gildea, Alison Heuser, Andrea Dubin G, Karen Hart, Zachary Barryte, and Kiran Bhattaram.

Tickets are $6 for MIT and Wellesley College students, $10 for MIT faculty and staff, senior citizens, and other students and $15 for the general public. Tickest may be purchased online at www.mit.edu/mtg.
