The Little Theatre of Fall River, Inc., will present one of America's perennially favorite musicals, Hello Dolly!, for its final main stage subscription offering. All performances will be in the Margaret L. Jackson Arts Center at Bristol Community College on Elsbree Street in Fall River, Mass.
Hello Dolly! performs May 12 at 7:30 p.m., May 13 and 14 at 8 p.m., and May 15 at 2 p.mWith music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, and a book by Michael Stewart, Hello, Dolly! is based on Thorton Wilder's The Matchmaker. Hired to find a mate in turn of the century New York City for the incorrigible Horace Vandergelder, matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi finds the perfect match---herself! But first she must stop his impending marriage to someone else. Brimming with beautiful tunes such as "Put on Your Sunday Clothes," "Before the Parade Passes By," and "It Only Takes a Moment," and the title song, Hello Dolly! is a musical lover's dream.
