Little Theatre of Fall River, Inc. announces auditions for CHILDREN OF EDEN, which will be in performance October 29 through November 1, 2009 at the Margaret L. Jackson Performing Arts Center.

Auditions will be held July 28 & 30, 2009 at 7:00 pm for ADULTS ONLY (15 and over) and August 1, 2009 at 10:00 am for CHILDREN ONLY (14 & Under -No toddlers). At the Fire Barn on 340 Prospect Street in Fall River, MA 02720 at the corner of Prospect Street and Highland Avenue.

Directed by Ron Robinson and musical directed by Dennis Robinson. Choreographed by Janice Macdonald and Jeff Belanger.

Those auditioning for principal roles will be asked to sing from the show. Storytellers will be given a dance routine.

From Stephen Schwartz ("Godspell" and "Pippin") and John Caird of "Les Misérables" comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith... not to mention centuries of unresolved family business!

Freely based on the story of Genesis, "Children Of Eden" is a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that "the hardest part of love... is letting go."
