Due to safety concerns for the valued patrons of the Little Theatre of Fall River, the LTFR performers and considering current parking conditions at the LTFR Firebarn, The Great American Songbook performances have been postponed.

The Great American Songbook has been rescheduled for March 18th & 19th, 2011.

Members of the group will showcase their talents in a night of song, celebrating  the best in American music.   Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett,  and, in more recent times, Michael Buble and Steve Tyrell,  are among the popular song- stylists whose Songbook hits you will recognize.

First heard during Broadway performances  and in Hollywood films, the  enduring popularity of this music  signals a time and place in Americana  which has created lasting memories  for millions. Composers  like Irving Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington, The Gershwins, Jerome Kern, July Styne, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, and Rodgers and Hammerstein will be highlighted.

Little Theatre performers,  who will bring the music and memories to life, include Cathy Taitz, Jessalyn Sadler-Corrrea, Roger S. Belanger, Jeff Belanger, Patti Robertson, Kelly Camara, Chris Roy, Wes Sahlin, and Maryann Goulart.
Stacy Tinkham and New Wave Rhythm will provide the music.

Tickets are $15.00 and will include refreshments.

All monies raised will be used for the restoration of the historic Firebarn.
