ImprovBoston is giving people a chance to experience the scenes, stories, and monologues of Ira Glass' This American Life with the return of This Improvised Life, only this will be real life with an improv spin. The show is set to run Friday nights at 10 p.m. from September 14-October 19 on ImprovBoston's Mainstage. Tickets to each show cost $18 and $14 with a valid student ID. ImprovBoston is located at 40 Prospect Street. Tickets and more information are available online at www.improvboston.com.

Each week, the audience will pick a theme and the cast will deliver stories on the theme. This Improvised Life is an improv take on "This American Life." Each week a group of improvisers tackle a different theme and weave it into a collection of scenes, stories, and monologues - complete with a host.

The show is directed by Jeremiah Jordan. The cast includes some of ImprovBoston's top performers. The cast is: Camillo Aladro, Brian Donnelly, Carrie Drzik, Emily Holland, Jeremiah Jordan, Rachel Klein, Bryce Read, Dave Sawyer, John Serpico, Zach Ward, and Jennie Weiner.

People are inundated with a news cycle that focuses on national politics, issues, and many absurd stories," said Jeremiah Jordan, the show's director. "With that in mind, it is exciting to produce a show that puts an improv lens on everyday people in extraordinary circumstances. I'm thrilled to bring This Improvised Life back to ImprovBoston."
