On Monday, August 27th, StageSource will host the Sixth Annual Greater Boston Theater Expo. The Expo brings together over 50 theater companies to share information, schedules and offerings for the upcoming 2018-2019 theater season - and many will be offering discounts, promotions, prizes and giveaways. The Sixth Annual Greater Boston Theater Expo offers a free, convenient and efficient way in an Expo-style/marketplace setting for theater artists and audience members to check out theater productions from their favorite companies and explore new organizations. With over 50 companies spanning the Greater Boston region, individuals will be able to meet representatives and artists from the region's fringe, small, mid-sized, and large theater companies, get information about upcoming productions, and take advantage of Expo-only ticket offers and giveaways. The 2018 Expo will also feature live preview performances from some of the 2018-2019 season offerings.

Janet Bailey, President of the StageSource Board, said "There's so much varied and exciting work being done in the Boston-area theater community, and The Greater Boston Theater Expo provides theater companies with a terrific way to connect with current and potential audiences. This will be the sixth year at the Boston Center for the Arts, and each year just gets bigger and better."

The 2018 Greater Boston Theater Expo will convene on Monday, August 27th from 5-8pm at the Boston Center for the Arts Cyclorama, 539 Tremont St, Boston. Registration is FREE for individuals, though RSVPs are highly encouraged. For additional information and to RSVP, go to www.stagesource.org/GBTE18.
