Free Performance and Q&A With Alice Ripley and John McDaniel Announced At at the Boston Public Library
The pair will appear together this Friday, June 14 at 11:30 AM for a performance and interview at the GBH Studio at the Boston Public Library.

Tony Award winner Alice Ripley (Best Actress in a Musical for “Next to Normal”) and Grammy Award winner John McDaniel (Best Musical Show Album for “Annie Get Your Gun”) will appear together this Friday, June 14 at 11:30 AM for a performance and interview at the GBH Studio at the Boston Public Library. The event is free and open to the public.
Their appearance will include two musical performances and an interview with co-hosts Jim Braude and Margery Eagan on their show "Boston Public Radio" as part of its "Live Music Friday" series. McDaniel and Ripley will discuss their careers, working together on Ripley's new cabaret show, and bringing the show to Provincetown next month as part of the "John McDaniel Broadway Series" presented this summer by the Post Office Cafe and Cabaret in Provincetown. Ripley appears on the Series July 19 and 20.
The free performance and interview this Friday take place inside the Newsfeed Cafe at the Boston Public Library Main Branch in Copley Square.and is accessible through the entrance at 700 Boylston Street (at Exeter Street). It will be livestreamed on WGBH.org and on the WGBH News YouTube page.
