Franklin Performing Arts Company’s Holiday Box Office Opens, 10/18

The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) is pleased to announce that the box office will open October 18 at 10 a.m. at 38 Main St., Franklin for its upcoming holiday productions of The Nutcracker and ‘Tis the Season!

An annual holiday tradition, The Nutcracker will be performed December 11 at 7:30 p.m. and December 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thomas D. Mercer Auditorium at Horace Mann Middle School. FPAC's 2010 production of The Nutcracker features brand-new choreography, special guest artists and a live professional orchestra.

‘Tis the Season! will be staged for three performances on December 18 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. and December 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thomas D. Mercer Auditorium at Horace Mann Middle School. A musical extravaganza for the whole family, 'Tis the Season! was last presented in 2007 and returns by popular demand. The show features traditional holiday tunes, original choreography and festive scenes, including Winter Wonderland, The North Pole and Holiday Bad Guys. Many of the segments incorporate jazzy, upbeat arrangements of holiday favorites, such as It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Sleigh Ride, Heat Miser and Quincy Jones' Hallelujah Chorus.

Tickets for both The Nutcracker and ‘Tis the Season! go on sale October 18 at 10:00 a.m. in person at the FPAC Box Office located in The Spotlight Shop at 34 Main Street. Telephone orders will be accepted after 11:00 a.m. at 508-528-2887. Regular box office hours are Mon. - Fri., 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Tickets for each show are $24.00/$26.00/$28.00, and are reserved seating only. Group sales are available for civic groups and organizations.
