Dynamic Theatre Begins 4th Year with Premiere of 'SIGH / OMELAS'

Sigh / Omelas is written and performed by Steve Kidd and based upon is based on his experiences as summer program director at Camp AmeriKids. Kidd portrays 4 characters and the narrator.

Kidd is currently heading up the learning and outreach program for the Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre in Pawtucket, RI. This production, in conjunction with Brown University, is dedicated to developing the literacy of youth through the performing and visual arts.

Performances will take place at The Met High School Media Center, 325 Public Street Providence RI, 02907.

Students, Jonathan "Jonny" Olivera and Pedro Ayala, started Dynamic Theatre in the fall of 2006 at the Met High School and produced Media Control, an arrangement of one-act plays in April 2007. Earlier this year, they produced a modern production of Macbeth.

Sigh / Omelas will be performed January 9th, 10th, 16th, and 17th. Each performance will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Adults tickets are: $16 each with discounted Student tickets $10 each.
