Cirque du Soleil's OVO Says Goodbye to Boston, Closing 8/29

On Sunday, August 29, the mysterious egg of OVO will appear for the last time in the insect community under the blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) on Boston's new waterfront. It is the last chance to see OVO before it travels to Washington, DC.

During the run in Boston, OVO marked a couple of milestones in its still brief history. The show welcomed its 1,000,000th guest, and passed the 500 performance mark. In Boston alone, more than 95,000 people have experienced the unique mix of breathtaking acrobatics and the creative musical delight of OVO.

Tickets are available online at www.cirquedusoleil.com/ovo, by phone at 1 800 450-1480 or via the Cirque du Soleil box office located in front of the Grand Chapiteau at Fan Pier & Pier 4.

Boston performance schedule: Wednesday, August 25 at 8p.m.; Thursday to Saturday at 4p.m. and 8p.m.; and Sunday at 1p.m. and 5p.m.

iShares is the presenting sponsor of the 2010 U.S. tour of OVO. CGI, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Infiniti, Sun Life Financial and American Express are the official sponsors.
