Cape Rep Theatre's production of Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady, which premiered July 30, 2009, generated more than $6,000 in one-day sales on August 3rd, breaking its previous record for one-day sales. In this non-traditional production helmed by Kim Weild (associate director of the recent Broadway revival of Blithe Spirit starring Angela Lansbury), the show which runs through August 29th, has been called "Pitch-perfect!" with "Laugh out loud comedy" (Cape Cod Times).

Actors' Equity Association members Alison Weller as Eliza Doolittle and David Eiduks as Henry Higgins head up this local and NY imported cast.

The play also showcases the creative talents of Music Director Scott Storr, costume designer Lisa Renee Jordan, lighting designers Susan Nicholson and Herrick Goldman and set designer John Paul David.

Cape Rep's production of My Fair Lady "Goes the extra mile" in presenting a more complex portrayal of both Eliza Doolittle and her professor Henry Higgins.

My Fair Lady runs through 29 August at the Cape Rep Indoor Theatre, 3299 Main Street, Brewster, MA. For more information, visit www.caperep.org.
