CITIZEN SPEAK: Public Conversation With Poet, Playwright And MacArthur Fellow Claudia Rankine Announced
ArtsEmerson and American Repertory Theater invite the public to join acclaimed author, poet, and MacArthur Fellow Claudia Rankine in a conversation moderated by current collaborator P. Carl about the journey from her 2014 New York Times best-selling book of poetry Citizen: An American Lyric to her world premiere play The White Card.
Citizen Speak is one component of Citizen Read, a three-month series of events created to activate public dialogue on race and identity in America in which over 1,300 participates from over 80 groups have participated.
