CHRISTMAS TIME Auditions Held At Reagle Music Theater 10/29

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston invites children and adults to audition on Saturday, October 29, for its spectacular holiday revue "Christmas Time" at the Robinson Theatre, Waltham High School, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham. Each year more than 100 children and an equal number of adults perform a wide range of holiday music ranging from traditional choral pieces to updated jazz and big band numbers. Now in its 29th edition, "Christmas Time" is an annual seasonal favorite, as popular a tradition as The Nutcracker, A Christmas Carol, and the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes.
Adults from high school age and up will audition at 11 a.m. Reagle seeks superb singers to join the singing ensemble. Adults are asked to bring sheet music for a popular Christmas song plus a favorite Christmas carol. They will be asked to sing 16 bars from the former and harmony on the latter. An accompanist will be provided.Children will be auditioning for roles as Raggedy Anns and Andies, Santas, and Clara in the "Teddy Bear's Nutcracker." The schedule is as follows: girls in grades 6, 7 and 8 at 9 a.m.; girls in grades 4 and 5 at 10 a.m.; boys in grades 4 and up at 10:30 a.m. Auditions for Clara are at 11 a.m. One parent or guardian per family must be present at the audition and initial rehearsal.One hundred boys and girls in primary grades 1 to 4 are also sought to play Elves. Any child willing and able to participate, focus and attend all rehearsals is welcome. The first rehearsal is scheduled for Saturday, October 29 at 9:30 a.m. at the theater. All interested children accompanied by at least one parent or guardian must attend. Parents will meet with the director to receive important information.Videos
