Boys Like Girls, Siobhan Magnus & More Set for OUTSIDE THE BOX Summer Music Festival

Outside The Box proudly announces today the official schedule for its free nine day summer performing arts festival on Boston Common and City Hall Plaza (July 13-21). The inaugural festival will kick off at noon on Saturday July 13th on Boston Common with a special performance by the Boston Children's Chorus followed by Los Lonely Boys and Los Lobos. Festival headliners Buffalo Tom, The Lemonheads and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones will perform live on Boston Common on Saturday July 20th beginning at 5pm.

Outside the Box also announces the addition of Celtic Fire, Grammy winner BRyan White, whose chart topping hits include From this Moment On (with Shania Twain), Boys Like Girls, Siobhan Magnus and Doubtful Guest, surfing superstars Jan and Dean, country star John Michael Montgomery, Disney Channel's Choo Choo Soul and Cuban sensation Issac Delgado.

Outside the Box chairman Ted Cutler has just added a special free Doo Wop Show for first responders to the Boston Marathon Bombing on Sunday July 14th at 2pm at the Cutler Majestic Theatre. Doo Wop performers will include "The Duke of Earl" Gene Chandler, The Persuasions, The Tuneweavers (Happy Birthday Baby), Tony Funches (former lead singer of Herb Reed's Platters), American Bandstand legend Kathy Young, and Rock 'n Roll Hall of Famer Billy Davis.

With the understanding that "Food is Art", Outside the Box will shine the spotlight on Boston's top chefs including Ming Tsai, Todd English, Lydia Shire, Jody Adams, and Gordon Hamersley who will be providing cooking demonstrations and sampling at the Boston Food Fest 2013 on City Hall Plaza's Culinary Stage July 18-21.
