Do you need SEX? Do you love DRUGS? Do you live by ROCK & ROLL? The men in Eric Bogosian's play of social analysis indulge themselves in your problems. Eleven men struggle with common addictions; spare change, cocaine, cigarettes, Crystal Meth, dog shit, egg salad sandwiches, beautiful sensitive women, animal porn, Range Rovers, politics, pot, long-thick pricks, Jim Beam, vengeance, fame, saving the world, and man-eating robots. You know, just like you and me!

Boston Actors Theater presents Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll, Eric Bogosian's funny yet, bleak landscape of the Western world. The canvas is far broader than the title and quirky cast of characters suggest. "Leaving the show, one is struck not so much by the uncanny resemblance between the real-life beggars outside the theater and the fictional ones of Mr. Bogosian's impersonations as by the way 'Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll' as a whole forces the audience to examine its own roles in the larger drama that, however unwillingly, it shares daily with the dispossessed."-Frank Rich, New York Times. Bogosian is a well known writer and great talent whose work includes, Talk Radio, Drinking in America, subUrbia, and Pounding Nails into the Floor with my Forehead and has received three Obie Awards. He is a native of Woburn, Massachusetts and a co-founder of the Woburn Drama Guild.

Danielle Leeber, Artistic Director for BAT, directs Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll. She created the company in 2004 with the mission to produce and promote actors, writers, and directors in the Boston area. She has received critical acclaim for her direction of the comedy Criminal Hearts and Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses as well as being praised for her choice of plays in the annual Summer Play Festivals. Her cast includes Core Cast Members David Lucas (BAT: Play It Again, Sam; Metamorphoses), Joey Pelletier (Alarmclock Theater: P.S. Page Me Later; Zeitgeist Stage: Blowing Whistles; BAT: Metamorphoses) and a cameo by Julia Specht (BAT: Metamorphoses; Mill 6: T Plays).

Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll will be performed on March 13, 14, 20, 21 at 8pm and March 15 & 22 at 2pm at the Factory Theater at 791 Tremont Street. Tickets are $15 and $10 with a valid student ID and can be purchased at Theatermania.com 866-811-4111.
