Anthony Rapp Will Bring WITH YOU to Commonwealth Shakespeare Company

By:

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company will present Broadway and film actor Anthony Rapp in this one-man musical theater event, based on his 2006 book Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical Rent. Performances will take place September 9-13 at Carling-Sorenson Theater at Babson College. For tickets, visit: http://commshakes.org/performances/performance/107

Rapp's first big break in show business came when he was cast as the lead in the musical RENT, but the exhilaration of that show's overwhelming success was tempered by the sudden and unexpected loss of the play's writer, Jonathan Larson.Without You is his memoir of love and loss, with music from RENT as well as original songs.

Rapp is best known for creating the role of Mark Cohen in Rent's original workshop, Off-Broadway, Broadway, Chicago, and London productions. He then appeared in the feature film version.
