Aglet Theatre Company will present a staged reading of Tina Howe's comedy The Art of Dining on May 1 at Berkshire Theatre Festival's Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, MA and on May 8 at TriArts' Bok Gallery in Sharon, CT. A wine-tasting experience will precede the staged reading.

A stylish restaurant is the setting for The Art of Dining. Owners Cal and Ellen have put their life savings, reputations, and marriage on the line to open The Golden Carousel. While chef Ellen frets over the quality of the food, Cal worries about regaining their financial investment. As tensions between the couple come to a boil, seven diners fixate on body image, converse about their individual hungers, and divulge their love/hate relationships with food.
