Hilarity and heartbreak unfold on a blustery winter night, when three friends (Dave, Alec, and Rick) play through Schubert's song cycle Winterreise. Each manning a piano, the trio slips into a wild reenactment of a Schubertiad and cast you, the audience, as guests. Unfortunate butchery of the German language ensues as they grapple with fundamental questions about the nature of music and love.
