20th Annual BCT 5X5 Reading Series to Conclude with SLOWGIRL, 4/28

By: Apr. 21, 2014

The 20th Annual BCT 5X5 Reading Series concludes on April 28, 2014 at 7pm with SLOWGIRL by Craig Pierce. Tracy Sunderland directs.

When his troubled niece, Becky (Annie Bulow), shows up at his isolated home in the Costa Rican jungle, Sterling (Matthew Cameron Clark) finds his carefully crafted reclusion going to pieces. Becky is pure, unfiltered teenager: insubordinate, invasive, bored, and-as Sterling discovers-deeply traumatized by an accident involving a schoolmate back home. Sterling, who's basically sworn off people and the world, doesn't want to get involved, but Becky's bleak circumstances soon force Sterling to make a life-altering decision.

After the reading participate in a discussion with the actors and director to complete your evening. This reading will be performed in Boise ONE NIGHT ONLY, April 28 at 7pm! Tickets are $10 for Students and $12 for Adults and available at BCTheater.org or at the door. Pizza provided by Piehole Pizza, Beer by Payette Brewing Company and Wine by Hayden Beverage.
