The Morris Performing Arts Center, Sunny 101.5, and WNDU are pleased to announce the outdoor summer concert series --Fridays by the Fountain presented by Memorial Regional Cancer Center. This will be the 13th year that the FREE CONCERTS have been held and are open to the public. Rock, Irish, Blues, R&B, Country and Children's bands, along with the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts students from Indiana University - South Bend will take "the stage" in the Jon R. Hunt Plaza in front of the historic Morris Performing Arts Center during lunchtime from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., this year on thirteen consecutive Fridays in June, July and August.

August 9 ..... The Snyders (formerly Southside Denny) (Blues)
August 16 .... Real Country's Budweiser Country Star Contest Winner (Country)

Lunch will be available to purchase from Palais at Your Doorstep, Papa John's, and Skinny's Hotdogs. A variety of lunchtime favorites including pizza, hotdogs, sandwiches, and salads will be available. Downtown South Bend, Inc., ambassadors will move the Red Table Concert Series to the Jon R. Hunt Plaza on Fridays. People are also welcome to bring a sack lunch, a chair or blanket and relax on the lawn.
Since 2001, Fridays by the Fountain has attracted a wide audience to the plaza. Local business people, families and senior citizens have come to enjoy the free concerts, outdoor dining and the spectacular plaza fountain. The 2013 concert series is presented by Memorial Regional Cancer Center and supporting sponsors which underwrite the cost of the bands.
