How much do the royalties cost for an amateur production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat?

"Let the little girl go, and that poor little dog? Dodo." That's my favorite line in the whole show (Wicked). My next favorite line is "Oh! It seems the artichoke is steamed."

There is no such thing as 'an average cost.' It's like comparing apples & oranges.

When Horton says "$1500" does that include everything? You say 'royalties' but do you really mean all fees - royalty, rental & security deposit?

When Horton says $1500 did he do 10 performances at $150 royalty for each performance? Or 3 perforamnces with a $500 royalty?!!! Is he including the rental fee for the scripts? For the orchestration?

Many factors go into the royalty calculation, most notably the ticket prices and the number of tickets you intend to sell, versus the capacity of the venue. Etc., etc., etc.

The only way to know the fees for your particular circumstances is to apply for & receive a license. IF the show is even available in your area -- there has been a tour out for years!
