Sweeney todd for sure. I adore the show and sing it well imo and I even have a mrs. lovett to costar with me: broadwayworld's own prisoner 24601.
And if I cant play sweeney I will kill to play Molina in spiderwoman. Hopefully in a few years ( say like 5 or so) Cathrine Zeta Jonews will revive it and they can cast me

Posted: 6/20/06 at 6:35pmBecause of the whole ethnicity thing, I'd never get to play the roles I would love (Glinda, Aida, Tracey, The Witch, Maria) but I have to go back to what I loved as a teen; Kim in Miss Saigon. That's also highly unlikely, but a girl can dream!

Dexter in "Thoroughly Modern Millie".
Ok, I know I have no talent, but I can put on a suit and play that old guy in the restaurant scene where Trevor gets stood up and drunk, and I get to say "sixteen years". My dream is to some day do it in community theatre just to be a part of it.
This role, and several others in the show, was created by Casey Nicholaw who went on to bigger and better things.

neddyfrank2, we think alike!
I've played Oscar in Sweet Charity, but that role fits me so damn perfectly in all aspects (characterization, vocal part, etc.), so I would love to do it in the next revival in twenty years.
I know it said "ONE role", but if I were a female, my one role would be Elphaba in Wicked.
But if Brian Charles Rooney ever did get cast as Elphaba, I would make sure that I got to understudy him/standby for him/replace him! I can DEFINITELY play that role!

If I were a guy:

Of all the roles I've listed, I think Anna is the most feasible one for me. I'm too soprano for Fantine, too young for Norma, too white for Maria and too female for Judas (although nothing ever said the Narrator *had* to be a guy, now I think about it...). But really! Just one indeed. XD

Roy Johnson in Light in the Piazza. I just can't explain it. It's just such an emotional and somewhat evil role.
(I say screw the rules, too)
Rod/Princeton in Avenue Q is another. It could happen since I have training in puppetry...I just need to become handsome and loose about fifteen pounds. Or Brian, if I decide not to loose some weight. :P
