Yep, Anthony said something along those lines in one of the other gigantic threads. Anyway, I for one am excited about what they're doing with OT. I think it's gonna look tight.
"It's not always about you!!!" (But if you think I'm referring to you anyway, then I probably am.)
"Good luck returning my ass!" - Wilhemina Slater
"This is my breakfast, lunch and f***ing dinner right here. I'm not even f***in' joking." - Colin Farrell
I really wish that some of this movie musical business could be done like "CATS," JCS, or the PPV release of "Jekyll and Hyde" -- just filming the stage performance. I guess that eliminates the actual process of making a movie of it in some...well, in a lot of respects, but that would keep the mad purists, such as myself, somewhat happy (not totally, of course -- WHERE is 'Growltiger's Last Stand,' I ask you???). I find that too many recent movie musicals have gone for too many hollywood names and always manage to cut some of the best songs (ie, Chicago's 'Class').
I agree with everything you just said! I miss Growltiger so much I made a SOUNDTRACK(!) of the DVD and put Growltiger back in so I could at least listen to the DVD cast and be happy. Also had to use the Austalian version of "Mungojerie and Rumpleteazer" becasue the filmed version is cut short... I'm psycho I guess...
Haven't rightly heard if there was going to be an original song.. That would be a good question for Anthony..

"Someday I'm going to have a baby and I'm gonna name her L'il Mimi Marquez and I and will sing to her every day and when she's a toddler I will say "L'il Mimi Marquez, clad only in a bubble diaper, will perform her famous play pen handcuff dance to the sounds of breast milk being pumped!" ~Kringas
They need to cut Tango Maureen and Christmas Bells and all the junky songs that aren't musical sounding anyway and just do the main songs like what's on the highlights cd.
Personally, I like having Tango:Maureen in there. The fact that they got rid of stuff like We're Okay is great. I'm disappointed about getting rid of the voicemails, but hey, nothing's perfect.

Mimi sings it in the Cat Skratch Club while stripping, if they stick to the Chobsky script for this one, she invites Angel at the end to strip also. They strip bare naked and we see them from behind seeing all the men in Club shocked to see Angel has a penis. Then Roger still pissed off not liking Mimi goes to the loft she follows and Another Day starts.
The important thing though- did Chbosky mention the "blue pants" in his OT? I remember reading the glitter in her hair, the bathrobe, but no sign of the pants.
If you ask me, those pants define OT partially.
