Broadway Undercover reports that the British press says that Katie Holmes is coming to broadway. She will appear in a revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons. Found at site www.broadwayundercover.com Updated On: 3/28/08 at 10:56 AM
what a treat to be able to see the stellar acting of the star of many major films including: "First Daughter" and "Batman Begins"...oh and lets not forget her AMAZING stint on Dawsons Creek.
Let's hope she will take some classes (acting classes, NOT Scientology....duhhh) before coming to the Great White Way.
John Lithgow and Katie Holmes. Not a terrible cast. Too bad it's in the wake of the controversy over the mentally disabled son that Miller apparently disavowed.
The only movie where I've seen Katie Holmes do any kind of decent acting is that movie she did with Patricia Clarkson, Sean Hayes, and Lillias White (can't remember the name to save my life and I'm too lazy to imdb.com-it). At least it's not Jessica Alba...
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
Does Broadway really need a revival of All My Sons?
I mean, it's a great play, but it's just going to transform into some message play about wartime violence and we're all going to here how "relevant" and "transcendental" it is.
"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

"I just had a freaky vision of Tom being the next Evi Quaid...hopefully it won't come to pass."
MungoGypsy, my friend, Tommy the Scientologist Superhero will make Evi Quaid look like Donna Reed.
Oh, and I love how in Wanna Be a Foster's link, casting Broadway veterans for your Arthur Miller production is all about making little Katie feel comfortable.
