Can anyone confirm if you can pay by credit card for rush?
CONGRATULATIONS SCOTTSBORO BOYS!!!  May 3 2011, 09:04:13 AM
I could not be happier for all this recognition for such a wonderful and deserving cast and creative team. This made my morning!
If you could pick ONE Tony nominee, who would you choose?  Apr 29 2011, 07:27:43 PM
I would also really like to see Scottsboro Boys recognized on Tuesday! Best musical and direction especially
Driving Miss Daisy Rush!  Mar 23 2011, 05:08:22 PM
I literally just did this for the matinee today. Got to the theater around 9:30 and there were I think 5 people before me. 3 or 4 more came by the time the box office opened. I got a row A rear mezz seat.
Promises, Promises rush- how early?  Apr 17 2010, 10:49:28 AM
I got to the theater a little before 2pm yesterday (Friday) and got 2 rush tickets (last row center mezz).
Behanding rush question  Apr 1 2010, 01:28:14 AM
I tried to get tickets for the Wednesday matinee. Got there at around 10:45 and the box office guy said they only had tickets for the evening show but to come closer to showtime and check again just in case. I returned at 12:30 and luckily enough got two tickets in the second to last row of the mezz!
Race rush lately?  Feb 20 2010, 01:37:20 AM
I went on a Thursday night during the last week of January and got two tickets front row. We got there 5-10 minutes before 6 and there were maybe 5 people in front of us...
What Time For Avenue Q Rush?  Feb 11 2010, 02:18:55 PM
My friends and I rushed on a Wednesday in late January. The box office opened at 1 and we got there about 15 minutes before. 1 other guy came before the box office opened. I don't know if it's any different on the weekends but it seems like during the week there's no need to be there early.
re: 'Perfect for US': The NEXT TO NORMAL love thread!  Jan 27 2010, 09:26:42 AM
My friends tried the lotto for the Sunday night show and there were a good amount of people there. None of us won but they did have a "lotto losers line" with $40 tickets. My friends did that and were happy with the seats (side orchestra I think). So hopefully if you tried the lotto you'd be able to have that as a cheaper back up than TKTS.
re: A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE Rush Policy  Jan 27 2010, 12:04:02 AM
I went today. Got to the theater around 9:30 and there were about 13-15 people in front of me. I'm pretty positive a few people got rush (don't know where) but they sold out of them 3 people in front of me. I got standing room though. Back of the mezz. The only thing about the first few numbers (my friend and I were 1 and 2) in standing room is that the last row in front of you is pretty high so we were trying to see between people's heads.
re: Questions about FELA!'s rush & who is playing Fela  Dec 8 2009, 04:48:29 PM
I went the Saturday matinee after Thanksgiving. We got there right at 12 and got the last two rush seats together (he started selling them right when we arrived and gave out 5-10 tickets before us). I was seated right next to the runway and could kind of see the projections but my friend couldn't and had to lean over me to see during that scene. And the sign up for who would be playing Fela was not up (it still had Sahr's name up from the night before when we got the tickets but when we came for
re: Hamlet Rush?  Nov 10 2009, 10:05:03 AM
I rushed for the matinee last Wednesday and got to the theater around 9:30 with less than 10 people in front of me. My friend and I got tickets no problem in the mid-mezzanine. I'm pretty sure that when the box office opened there were no more than 3-5 people behind us so I don't think it's really necessary to get there that early. Plus there were quite a few empty seats in the mezz.
re: Steady Rain rush?  Sep 29 2009, 07:34:34 AM
I rushed on Sunday with my mom and sister. We got to the theater (I think) around 11. He had just given out the wristbands and there were maybe 16 people in front of us but when he came back to give us wristbands we were numbers 14 and 15 (the numbers are written on the wristbands and he asks how many tickets you're getting too). We got tickets in the last row the three farthest to the right on the aisle and I think there were 4 tickets left behind us (judging from the people sitting on the othe
re: 'For Colored Girls' heads to the big screen, Tyler Perry-style  Sep 4 2009, 12:38:26 PM
I'm still unsure of how I feel about this... I read the play this summer and it made me wish the Broadway production had not fallen through. I do agree with Wayman_Wong and I think that having his name attached will bring in an audience that would not be introduced to this material otherwise (and I think it is an important piece to see), so I am happy that it will be getting something. Fingers crossed for a great adaptation! And I have faith that he'll be able to find a great cast as well.
re: PASSING STRANGE Trailer! (Vid) Edit 8/3: more cool news..  Aug 26 2009, 05:06:12 PM
Does any one know how long it will be available on demand? I won't be home until next week and was hoping I might still be able to watch it.
re: Hem's TWELFTH NIGHT album release pushed to October  Aug 24 2009, 11:42:24 AM
I agree, it wouldn't make much sense for there to be another album. Maybe the one in October will be fully packaged or something since the one they are selling at the park basically comes in a hard-stock envelope with the track listing printed on the back.
re: Ruined on TKTS  Aug 24 2009, 11:21:15 AM
This site has the days that shows are on TKTS and the discount percentage as well:

Hope you get to see it, it really is a great play!

Let it in.  Aug 22 2009, 04:12:43 PM
Yeah, I went by the box office to pick up my tickets for tomorrow's matinee and there were understudies on for Chrissy, Gavin (both expected), Dionne and Abe Lincoln. Then under that there was a list of maybe 4 or 5 tribe members that would be on. I'm sorry I can't remember who exactly all the understudied were but Paris was definitely on as Claude with Jay as a tribe member.
The Official Passing Strange Love Thread! -- Lincoln Center Out of Doors  Aug 20 2009, 11:29:00 AM
The concert sounds like it was amazing! Oh how I wish I lived in the city... and I am also praying that Stew and Heidi might do the show again (prefereably at a time I can see it). I am espeically intrigued by the Black Boys/Big Black Man mix. Sounds pretty genius to me!

On another note, I am really hoping to make it to the movie this weekend at IFC (especially if I can get to one of the Saturday filmings that Stew and Heidi are scheduled to attend). Fingers crossed!
