Thank you so much, but I don’t see an end date.

Broadway Cares start?  Mar 3 2024, 09:27:48 AM

Hi all,

I know this has been asked time and time again, but can someone just please give me the start and end of the Broadway cares collections?

Thank you!

2 tickets to Tommy, Saturday April 6th at 8 for under face value.  Feb 26 2024, 02:54:58 PM

Hi all,

it pains me to give these up, but I have two tickets to Tommy on Saturday, April 6th at 8 PM, front row mezzanine, row A seats 108 and 109. I paid 177 per ticket and will let these go to whoever wants them for 100 per ticket. I can send them from Broadway Direct and can accept Venmo or Zelle.

Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions or interest.

A BEAUTIFUL NOISE to announce closing date soon  Feb 22 2024, 09:23:36 AM

My question is as to why they have been fighting so hard to keep it going. I realize they want to make some money back but I feel they are desperate to keep it open for Neil Diamond.  To me it’s like they don’t want to upset him. They have been offering so many deep discounts and can’t even fill the theater at those discounts. I don’t recall seeing a show fighting so hard in a while. We are in the worst part of the year to fill theaters now and the full price thin

Fiddler end question  Feb 11 2024, 12:40:44 PM

I agree with answer 1. He’s done there as they are.

Answer 2 is so true though. I would say it’s a nearly perfect show except all of the joyous numbers are in act 1.

Fiddler end question  Feb 10 2024, 05:34:35 PM

I love the ending to Fiddlet. If it’s done right, it’s such a powerful, impactful scene showing that Tevye can have everything taken away from him except his traditions and he leaves Anatevka smiling. However, I always wondered why the fiddler stops playing after Tevye beckons for him to come with him.

just wondering if any of you had any ideas as to why it was staged with the fiddler, stopping playing and tucking the fiddle under his arm. <

A BEAUTIFUL NOISE: THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL - P/reviews & News Thread  Jun 18 2023, 09:55:11 PM

Thank you again! Glad I stayed with A 1, 3 & 5. That way no one is in front. My Aunt is very picky about that!

Can someone please tell me if the center orchestra starts at BB or A?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks very much for the info on the seats. I feel much better!

Anybody sit in Orchestra, Row A 1,3, and 5?  Just curious, how they were.  They are all sold as full view so there should not be any obstructions.

Thank you.

PETER PAN GOES WRONG to open this spring  Apr 15 2023, 09:13:02 PM

Agreed! I saw it on Friday night and NPH was enjoying himself as the narrator and when he was the pirate he was able to fit right into the ensemble. I will say he was quite funny as a pirate too, especially his giving Hook the things bit.

Curious to see who the other guests will be.  Starting off strong with NPH. As for the show, it was quite funny in act 1. Act 2 was good but got great when the revolve started.

Don’t forget to get

Glad to hear that you’ll think he’ll be great in it. I was excited to see the original London actor, I’m looking forward to seeing NPH.

Has anyone seen NPH yet? Just wondering how he’s doing. I can’t see him fail at anything he does. I’m seeing him on Friday night. How I wish he would break out into Midnight Radio!

Groban & Ashford in SWEENEY TODD On Broadway - Reviews & News Thread  Mar 29 2023, 01:55:40 PM

Definitely money well spent jast. Don’t forget you can always get a booster too and you won’t be blocking anyone if you do. I would sit there again though. The seat was really good and to be that close you can really see the barber scenes in act 2 very well. The blood looked very real.

Groban & Ashford in SWEENEY TODD On Broadway - Reviews & News Thread  Mar 28 2023, 09:41:20 PM

Actually sat in row B center orchestra. The seat was amazing to be that close to everyone and everything. No trouble seeing anything on the catwalk at all. It was just the end while they were on the floor (stage) but you know what’s going on and it didn’t last long. We did not have to crane our necks and we’re short. The sound was fine and the orchestra wasn’t overpowering then because we were in B. Lastly, no one tall can block you since the stage is high. Overall, a

SWEENEY TODD Revival announces further casting  Mar 12 2023, 01:57:44 PM

Saw the matinee yesterday too and was blown away. The set was simple but worked. The orchestra sounded incredible and absolutely beautiful. You can understand every syllable out of Josh’s mouth. Annaleigh was funny and a natural performer. The ensemble was terrific. Nice to see Patricia Phillips in this. She did her “Carlotta” belting every now and then and towered over everyone else. For those of you who, like to sit close, the stage was ridiculously high, but it was nice t

Little Shop on Sunday  Sep 5 2022, 08:50:11 AM

Ronette asked him if she could have his jacket since he was leaving. It was a little ad lib, and he played it perfectly in character by replying “no”.

Her exact words were, “since you’re leaving, can I have your black leather jacket?”

I thought it was nice how they gave him a moment during curtain calls. Plus, when Ronette asked him about his jacket was priceless. I will miss him in the role. Andrew has some big shoes to fill in many different roles.

It’ll be my 11th time seeing him. I’m just curious if he’ll be doing all of his extra stuff, in the Dentist scene and such. I’m sure he’s tried to make Rob laugh by now.
