i always get the RULES wrong.... and PEOPLE on here YELL and DEFAME ME... so, before you read my FEELINGS about this FIRST PREVIEW... know that there (i guess!) will be SPOILERS... i mean, i don't know what you know about the show... and/or what you WANT to know...
anyway, i kinda saw the MOVIE... i watched it (sorta!) with my NIECES... and i liked it... and, yeah, you come way from it thinking... wow, its a CARTOON, but it REALLY is a MUSICAL...

this is a VERY ACCURATE REVIEW... (EDITED: the FIRST REVIEW ON HERE!)
and it made me LAUGH... because i literally did CRINGE and watch some of it THROUGH MY FINGERS...
the songs were RELENTLESS and GENERIC...
when ZAC EFRON climbs up to a balcony and LEAPS OUT UPON his TWIRLING/TRAPEZE-ING 'object of affection"... i LAUGHED OUT LOUD !!!
imagine if he had leaped a moment too soon.. or too late !!!

it's FINE... the audience went CRAZY for it when i saw it last TUESDAY...
the BOOK is CLUNKY... often OBTUSE...
but they use some of her songs to GREAT EFFECT... my FAVORITE: "I FEEL LOVE" sung by various GROUPS... her PARENTS... her and BRUCE... her and her KIDS... it was MOVING and it's ALWAYS been a GREAT SONG...
even when you are SITTING there wondering if you LIKED it or NOT... you find yourself SPRINGING TO YOUR FEET for LAST DAN
