Originally from Dublin, James Vincent McMorrow became known in 2010 with a beautiful first recorded in a small house by the sea frame perfect for making a wispy album, cradled by dreamy melodies and inimitable voice of Irish singer album. The success was such that the young man goes from being an ordinary worker in the maintenance of an airport than recognized around the world musician.

In his native country, there is even talk of triumph, his first album there squatting on top of the charts for many weeks, earning platinum status and was nominated for the Irish Choice Awards.

After this well deserved success, James Vincent McMorrow goes off in search of tranquility. The singer-songwriter took refuge in an American farm on the border of Texas and Mexico to record "Post Tropical", a second atmospheric album that exudes warm dust in the American desert and offers ten strong titles to obscure texts but still poetic, wonderfully transcended by the crystalline voice of James, somewhere between Justin Vernon and James Blake. Acoustic guitar blends with more electronic sounds, minimalist percussion or synthetic sheets on which are grafted at the option of pieces of brass, piano or mandolin. The result is simply beautiful, like the first single is extracted, "Cavalier," beautifully illustrated by a hypnotic video directed by Aoife Mcardle (Beck, Anna Calvi). After a given Botany in February, James Vincent McMorrow concert full returns home October 12 to bewitch the Cirque Royal. The presale starts this Thursday, May 8th at 11am.
