Drama Works Theatre of Old Saybrook begins its 2026 season with Intimate Apparel, a historical drama by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage. Directed by Patrick Barry, the play tells the story of Esther, a Black seamstress in early 20th century New York City, who navigates her dreams of love while dealing with loneliness. The cast features Kelley Knight as Esther, alongside Dan Anderson, Macho Kimaru, Alexis Trice, Chloe Parrington, and Elizabeth Reynolds. Performances run from February 27 to March 8, 2026.
