Registration Opens For Spring Art Classes At Howard County Center

Registration has begun for visual and performing arts spring programs at the Howard County Center for the Arts (HCCA) in Ellicott City. HCCA offers classes and workshops for children and adults and the programs are open to the public. Spring art educational programs begin the week of April 26, 2011. Classes range in duration from one day workshops to five-week classes.

Kids and Tweens courses are open for enrollment for ages 5-12 and include Wee Puppets, Writing Poems, and Art across the Globe. Teen courses are offered for ages 12-17 and include Drawing from Observation and Perfect Your Audition! Offerings for adults include Making Art Quilts and The Korean Tradition of Paper Crafting and Art with Art! Ongoing weekly drop-in sessions for drawing and painting from portrait and life models are also taking place.
