Photo Flash: First Look at Harry Connick, Jr.'s THE HAPPY ELF, Opening Tomorrow at Red Branch Theatre Company

By:

Red Branch Theatre Company (RBTC) will complete its 2016 season entitled Paint It Red with the snappy, jazzy holiday musical comedy The Happy Elf. Follow Eubie the Elf as he sets out on a mission to restore Christmas joy to a town called Bluesville where every single child is on Santa's naughty list. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!

"The Happy Elf" began as a holiday song written by American singer and pianist Harry Connick, Jr. for his album "Harry for the Holidays." The song was expanded and adapted into a 3D-animated holiday special featuring Harry Connick, Jr.'s music and voice as well as stars like Carol Kane, Mickey Rooney, and Lewis Black among others.

Just as in the animated film, Harry Connick, Jr. narrates Red Branch's production of The Happy Elf, though through pre-recorded voiceover for the purposes of the upcoming stage adaptation.
