Maryland Ensemble Theatre's MET-X Program to Bring JUNIE B. JONES THE MUSICAL to Frederick

The Carroll Arts Center is traveling to Maryland Ensemble Theatre in downtown Frederick, Maryland for a fully staged production of Junie B. Jones The Musical. Laugh yourself silly with this delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park's best-selling books, brought to life in a genuinely comical (and not strictly-for-kids) musical with tremendously lovable characters and fun-filled songs.

Performances of Junie B. Jones The Musical will be held at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre on Saturday, July 22 at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. This appearance will follow the run at the Carroll Arts Center in Westminster.

It's Junie B.'s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie's friend, Lucille, doesn't want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting.

Performances of Junie B. Jones The Musical will be held at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre on Saturday, July 22 at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. Tickets are $12 for Adults and $10 for Students & Seniors.
