Iron Crow Theatre Company in cooperation with the Johns Hopkins University MLA program presents
"I Want To Be A Gay Icon!" at Baltimore Theatre Project.

The premiere of Iron Crow Theatre Company member Sarah Lynn Taylor's new play takes the audience on a personal exploration of the gay rights movement through story and song. Using the gay icons through the ages as signposts, Taylor travels the road to becoming an icon, realizing that
she needs more than a torch song and sequins to join the ranks of Judy, Liza and Bette.

Written and performed by Sarah Lynn Taylor, directed by Joseph Ritsch, with musical direction by Nick Jewett. Also featuring Ines Nassara, Amanda Rife, Katie O. Solomon and The Gay Icon Band.
