Improv Games held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 7pm - FREE!
Part of Station North Second Saturday Series

Come join in on a fun evening of learning comedy improv. Whether you've done improv or are just curious, ANYONE can do it. It's a fun way to get in touch with all those characters that are somewhere in side of you. This is a basic introduction. We will be learning some easy games and warm-up exercises. If you've watched "Whose Line Is It Anyway", then you already know how much fun comedy improv can be! Wear some comfortable clothes, and just bring yourself. You don't have to be young or physically fit or have any acting experience to enjoy theater games. If you are a human being and breathing, you can do this! Hope to see you at the Strand for a silly, spectacular, Saturday evening!

Charles Street in Baltimore City. Please come prepared with a one minute monologue, comedic or dramatic, and prepared to read sides as requested by the director (Miriam Bazensky). About the show: In this dramatic adaptation of her award-winning, bestselling memoir (which Michiko Kakutani in The New York Times called "an indelible portrait of loss and grief . . . a haunting portrait of a four-decade-long marriage), Joan Didion transforms the story of the sudden and unexpected loss of her husband and their only daughter into a stunning and powerful one-woman play.
