Everyman Theatre has announced the election of two new Vice Presidents to its Board of Directors. Susan W. Flanigan and W. Bryan Rakes will both assume the title of Vice President for the theatre company's board. The new appointments ensure Everyman will continue to benefit from diversity of experience and opinions.

Susan W. Flanigan has been a supporter and patron of Everyman Theatre for over 15 years. She has served on the Board of Directors for two years. As an alumna of the drama program at Goucher College, Mrs. Flanigan was an early lover of theatre. She has a special passion for Everyman's Capital Campaign to build the theatre's new home. In addition to her dedication to Everyman, Susan worked with the City, State, friends and family to raise $2 million for the creation of Pierce's Park – a green space on Baltimore's Inner Harbor – in memory of her husband Pierce J. Flanigan, III.

W. Bryan Rakes, a partner at Venable LLP, has been a patron of Everyman Theatre for nine years and joined Everyman's Board of Directors in November 2010. Last year, he was the Sponsorship Chair for Everyman's annual gala, Salut! 2011. He also currently serves on the Board Development Committee. Mr. Rakes was recognized by Legal 500 as a leading middle market M&A attorney in its 2012 rankings. Mr. Rakes was also recognized as a Rising Star by Maryland Super Lawyers in 2011 and 2012, and was recognized by SmartCEO as a member of its 2011 Legal Elite.
