Everyman Theatre Celebrates the Marquee Lighting Tonight
By: BWW News Desk
Before Baltimore lights the Washington Monument for the holidays on December 6th, celebrate a lighting of a different sort with Everyman Theatre! Tonight, December 5th at 5:30 PM, Everyman Theatre will light the marquee at its brand new, state-of-the-art home on Fayette Street for the very first time.
The lighting of the marquee signifies the arrival of Everyman Theatre to its new neighborhood of the Bromo Tower Arts and Entertainment District. Guests will be welcomed with a few opening remarks from Artistic Director Vincent Lancisi followed by the lighting. The theatre company has been preparing to move in to its new location for over five years now. Construction on the building formally began in April, 2011. The theatre company moved into its new home at the end of November, and will officially open to the public during its Grand Opening Week in January (January 14-20, 2013).Videos
