Everyman Theatre has announced its Thanksgiving Week schedule of performances for its production of the Tony Award-winning play Redby John Logan. The week will consist of added performances on Tuesday, November 26th and no performances on Thanksgiving.

The schedule of performances will be as follows:

Tuesday, November 26th -
10:30 AM (open to the public and also available for field trip sales for schools)
7:30 PM (a Talk Back with the cast of Red will immediately follow this performance.)

Wednesday, November 27th - 7:30 PM

Thursday, November 28th - No performances

Friday, November 29th - 8:00 PM

Saturday, November 30th - 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM

Sunday, December 1st - 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM

Winner of six 2010 Tony Awards, including Best Play, Red sends you crashing into the vivid and visceral mind of an artistic genius - abstract expressionist Mark Rothko. Set against the changing landscape of the early 1960s, the celebrated artist has just landed his biggest commission: a series of massive murals for New York's posh Four Seasons Restaurant. In the midst of his creation, Rothko's young, new assistant questions his artistic integrity, forcing the famed artist to confront the possibility that his crowning achievement could be his ultimate downfall. A searing portrait of an artist's determination and vulnerability, Red is a stirring and captivating story of one of the most celebrated artists in modern times

Everyman's production will be directed by noted theatre director Donald Hicken. Resident Company Members Bruce Randolph Nelson and Eric Berryman will form the two-person cast as Mark Rothko and his apprentice Ken, respectively.

Red has been extended for an additional week of performances and runs from November 6th through December 8th, offering performances Wednesday through Sunday, with selected Tuesday evening performances.

Everyman Theatre is proud to partner with WYPR 88.1-FM as the Season Media Sponsor. Towson University and Yumkas, Vidmar, Sweeney are the co-sponsors of the production.
