Everyman Launches Dinner and Conversation Series, ReWINEd

By:

Everyman Theatre has announced ReWINEd, a new series of curated dinners and play-based conversations at Dovecote Café, featuring local produce from Strength to Love, a Baltimore based urban farm. This new event will take place at the café over three Sunday evenings: October 2, November 6 and December 18, from 6PM TO 9PM.

Theatre lovers will catch the Sunday 2PM matinee of Wait Until Dark adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, The Roommate by Jen Silverman, or Dot by Colman Domingo at Everyman Theatre and then meet up for dinner at Dovecote Café. Over a relaxed family-style pre-fixe meal prepared by a local chef and a glass of wine, a guest moderator will lead conversations related to the themes and messages of each production. The event is a program of Everyman Theatre's Community Engagement Department, who works to connect new audiences in unique ways and also to deepen existing patron's experiences with the art.

"The beauty of great theatre is the many ways people connect to the themes of the story," says Community Engagement Manager, Melani N Douglass. "ReWINEd provides a family-style dinner for strangers to break bread together and find common ground through the lens of a play."

Dinners will take place at Dovecote Café, 2501 Madison Avenue in Baltimore. Tickets for the show and dinner are $85 per person. ReWINEd is for patrons ages 21 and over, a ticket to the play, a pre-fixe meal and great conversation. To purchase tickets to ReWINEd, visit www.everymantheatre.org.
