Drama Learning Center Presents 13, The Musical 6/11-19

Fresh off of Broadway, 13, the musical will premiere with a local cast at the Drama Learning Center in Columbia, MD. This rock musical, performed by Teaching Young Actors, DLC's Teen Professional Company, follows Evan Goldman, a nice Jewish boy from NYC's upper eastside who is forced to move to Indiana with his mother after his parents get a divorce. To make matters worse, Evan is on the verge of being Bar Mitzvhed (For you gentiles that means he's becoming a "man"). The chaos that ensues is truly hilarious, real, and heartfelt. The lyrics and music are by Jason Robert Brown, based on the book by Dan Elish & Robert Horn.
