Children's Playhouse of Maryland, Inc., in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, is hosting a Halloween performance of "Captain Louie" 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30 in the "J" Building Lecture Hall (J-137) at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.

But that's not all! This is a Halloween event so guests are encouraged to come in costume, enjoy the performance and then parade over to the "B" Building for a party with games, prizes, food and treats.

Captain Louie, written by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin), tells the story of a young boy who moves to a new neighborhood just before Halloween and is missing his old friends. With the help of his magic red toy plane, Louie discovers the joys of both old and new friendships in this trick-or-treat fantasy. It is a story for all ages.

Tickets for this Halloween event are $15, and may be purchased by calling the CCBC Box Office at 443-840-ARTS (2787) or online at http://www.ticketreturn.com/prod2/team.asp?SponsorID=3101.
