Pumpkin Theatre is very excited to be opening our 43rd season with the show Hansel and Gretel. We believe in providing quality children's theater that the whole family can enjoy. Hansel & Gretel runs September 25 - October 3. Performances take place at St. Timothy's School, 8400 Greenspring Avenue Saturday's and Sunday's at 1 and 3pm. Tickets are $12 in advance, $14 at the door and subscriptions are available by calling the box office at 410 828 1814 or visiting our website at www.pumpkintheatre.com.

The theatre will be starting its season with this Hansel & Gretel. Two hungry children, on a search to find food for their family, stumble upon a house made of gingerbread and candy. The witch who lives there captures Hansel & Gretel. How will they escape? Who will rescue them?

This season is for the Young and Young-at-Heart. As always, Pumpkin strives to showcase some of the Mid-Atlantic regions most talented performers, directors and designers. Our productions always feature solid acting, dramatic lighting, thought provoking sets and fabulous costumes.

Hansel and Gretel by Michelle Vacca, directed by Stacey Needle, Costumes by Wil Crowther, with actors Elisa Dugan, Drew Gaver, Erin Confair, Shelly Work, Mitch Nathan and Chris Jenhart.

This classic fairy tale is the story of a bond between a Brother and a Sister, of how they triumph over a very hard situation. This story shows how tight the bond of a family is, thru thick and thin, a family is always there to help and give support.
