Student Blogger: Lynda Feustel

Lynda is a 21 year old theatermaker originally from Oceanside, NY, currently based in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. She is a senior at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with majors in Library Science and Professional Writing and a minor in Performance and Storytelling with a certificate in Creative Writing. She has been a writer ever since she could remember and is currently a copeditor for the Keystone Newspaper at KU where she occasionally contributes articles. She is also part of Actors Creating Theater at KU where she currently serves as Quartermaster. She has directed, stage managed, acted, written and costume designed many productions with ACT in her four years at Kutztown. Some favorites include "Fiddler on the Roof" (Assistant Director), "Ride the Cyclone" (AD/Costume designer) and "The Outsiders" (Dramaturg). Her debut play "Waystation" premiered in late 2024 and its prequel "Any Time, Any Way" will be premiering in April 2026. She has also worked at Sunrise Theater Company on Long Island as a stage manager. Some of her current favorite shows include "& Juliet," "Company," "Ragtime," "Dead Outlaw," "Sunset Boulevard" and "Fiddler on the Roof"
