Two-time Emmy Award- and Golden Globe-nominee Fran Drescher joined the cast of 'Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella' for the Los Angeles engagement of the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. Drescher reprises the role of the wicked stepmother, 'Madame', a role she played in 2014, making her Broadway debut. I of the Storm, a new solo riff written by RJ Bartholomew and performed by Richard Hoehler is making its New York premiere in a limited 8-week engagement at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th Street - just east of Broadway). Directed by Janice L. Goldberg, performances began on March 7th. The show officially opened last night, March 17th, and continues through April 29th. Deep End Productions is producing. The Hunchback of Notre Dame, featuring a book by Peter Parnell, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, has officially begun its spring run at Paper Mill Playhouse. Local choir members from the Continuo Arts Foundation are providing a lush backdrop for the musical, which Menken told NJTV News provides the show an 'emotional depth'.
