The evening raised an incredible $480,287 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. STAGE TUBE: A Real-Life Love Story Unfolds in Proposal at AN AMERICAN IN PARISMarch 18, 2016This winter, An American in Paris was lucky enough to be part of a Tennessee couple's love story. On December 12, 2015, community theater vet Justin McIntosh proposed to fellow thesp, his partner Nathan Smith, onstage at the Palace Theatre following the show. Smith (after saying yes, of course!) was serenaded, took photos with the cast and drank champagne in honor of the occasion.
