On September 12, some of Broadway's brightest talents sang completely new arrangements of the hits of Amy Winehouse in the most recent concert of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series. More than 20 Broadway performers were accompanied by a full band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the English singer's greatest songs. The concert is the fifth of the series; previously honored were Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Stevie Wonder. Paper Mill Playhouse will launch its 75th Anniversary Season with the world-premiere, Broadway-bound musical Honeymoon in Vegas, based on the Castle Rock Entertainment motion picture of the same title. Honeymoon in Vegas features music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown(The Last Five Years, Parade, 13) and book by Andrew Bergman (director and screenwriter of the film). At long last, the phenomenon is coming home. Cameron Mackintosh's production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece LES MISERABLES will return to the Imperial Theatre, the show's home on Broadway for nearly 13 years and 5244 performances. Previews for the new production of Les Miserables will begin Saturday, March 1 with an official opening night Sunday, March 23. Watch a promo for the show below!

In this episode of 'In Focus', host Eden Lane brings you the Ballet Mistresses of Colorado Ballet's GISELLE. Lorita Travaglia's experience with this classic storybook ballet began with Nureyev and Evdokimova at Berlin Ballet in 1978. Sandra Brown's started at American Ballet Theater in 1988. Both of these incredible women have danced most of the roles form corps de ballet to soloist. Lane learns how this extensive experience helps the young dancers capture the unique spirit of 'Giselle'. New York City Opera's 2013-14 season and BAM's 2013 Next Wave Festival opened Sept. 17 with the U.S. premiere of Anna Nicole, an opera by composer Mark-Anthony Turnage and librettist Richard Thomas based on the flamboyant life and tragic death of Anna Nicole Smith. This highly anticipated co-production includes seven performances at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, on September 17, 19, 21, 24, 25, 27, and 28 at 7:30pm. Auditionees hoping to portray famous icons like Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson were dancing in the streets as Nicolini herself experienced the thrill of auditioning for casting directors Bernie Telsey and Bethany Knox in the historic Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. In a brand new teaser clip released in advance of the debut of Who Killed Jigaboo Jones?, playwright Jeff Campbell introduces us to Lefty Caruso, the vampire. Caruso represents all that is wrong with the industry. A character who feeds off the life and creativity of others in order to sustain himself, this archetype is found all throughout hip-hop. Caruso mentions some of his favorite 'jigs' with tongue and cheek verbal brutality, mentioning Chief Keef, Kanye West, and Wu-Tang Clan's Ol' Dirty Bastard. Of the latter Caruso expresses that ODB 'was my favorite Wu-Tang member cause he was a real jig.' Watch below!
