TRAILS will be a ballet and aerial ballet using projected images from NASA starting outside the earth, from the International Space Station, with views of Earth from space. Then it will diagram our planet in drought, on fire, with torrential rains, then Flooding, and... shaking with earthquakes! The terror we all remember, with a reference to the insanity that is fracking- (no way in CA!). Then Traffic and our lives being affected daily by the packed freeways, the dirt and exhaust, and road rage that builds up from it.... going smoothly into the refuge we love the best in LA, the ocean....underwater, to then discover the wreckage from Fukushima's earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear reactor meltdown, lurking there and slowly coming toward us. It will be a real wake up call!

KING LEARMichael Pennington, two-time Olivier Award nominee, an artist of international stature and one of England's greatest classical actors, will play the title role in William Shakespeare's tragedy King Lear directed by Arin Arbus. For the second production in Theatre for a New Audience's inaugural season at its first permanent home, the new Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place in Brooklyn, Mr. Pennington leads a company of 22 actors. Virginia Repertory Theatre opens their biggest show in the Children's season, Shrek, The Musical tonight, March 14 at the Children's Theatre of Virginia at Willow Lawn, 1601 Willow Lawn Drive. On Saturday evening, March 1st at 7:30pm Pace University presented American Showstoppers, with the 13-piece Fred Barton Orchestra, AN EVENING OF JERRY HERMAN. The evening was directed and choreographed by Scott Thompson and produced, orchestrated and hosted by Fred Barton, and starred Klea Blackhurst, Toni DiBuono, Jeffry Denman, Tari Kelly, Damon Kirsche, Beth Leavel, Karen Murphy and the inimitable Lee Roy Reams. MacNeil is a review but as he says, 'I'm a reviewer, but I don't review food, books or movies, I review life itself!” MacNeil reviews many things and gives them star ratings to first hand experiences.

London Theatre Workshop will open the doors to a new, fully functional, 65 seat boutique theatre in the heart of Fulham, on 10 March, 2014. J. M. Synge's pioneering classic of modern Irish drama is a non-alcoholic trip to the Emerald Isle, though the play is, incidentally, set in an Irish country pub (they call it a shebeen).
