Galleon's production of A Woman of No Importance transposes Wilde's comedy drama to a Christmas party at the end of the 1950s. The seamless and careful repositioning of the play from1893 to the end of the 1950s liberates Wilde's heartrending play from melodramatic Victoriantrappings and brings it to an age closer to our own. Whereas, Bruce Jamieson's sensitive realignment of Wilde's text heightens contemporary audience empathy with the characters, their predicaments and delivers a thought provoking and highly enjoyable seasonal theatrical treat. In A Woman of No Importance Wilde exposes, through piercing wit, the hypocrisy of a society which scorns and punishes a woman for her sexual misdemeanours but applauds and grants honours to the man in question. The play centres on the then publically damning revelation of Mrs.Arbuthnot's long-concealed secret - she conceived a child out of wedlock. 'The Greenwich Playhouse really is producing the very best theatre in London.
The Christmas Schooner is the heart-warming musical about a German-American shipping captain and his crew who braved the icy waters of Lake Michigan to bring Tannenbäume (Christmas trees) to the immigrant families of Chicago. Heartfelt storytelling - with wonderful music and dance - captures the true spirit of the holidays, celebrating the joy of giving and the importance of sharing traditions between generations and between neighbors. 'In a world of ‘me first' mentalities, this story of an immigrant family is one of love and sharing; a generosity of spirit that drives people to use the skills and resources at their disposal to reach out to those who are less fortunate,' says History Theatre artistic director Ron Peluso. 'That is why The Christmas Schooner is so popular; it reflects the best of what our nation and community can be, at the holidays and throughout the year.'

Jerrod grew up in the small town of Liberal, Kansas. Like many rural communities, the economy relied on agriculture, and the weekend entertainment revolved around high school football. With the nearest major city almost three hours away, live music came in the form of acounty fair once a year. His parents worked hard to provide Jerrod, and his siblings with a stable and loving home environment. For most of hischildhood, his parents owned and operated a roller skating rink, which offered Jerrod his first real introduction to music.
